So lovelies, you all know I have been dancing and staying happy since I announced my clothe line in this post. I have equally been doing some researches as regards what people love ranging from colour and style. It’s quite a lot but it’s useful info. Do you do researches for your business? You should. Very helpful. That’s like the direct arrow to your cash.

So I was discussing with a friend and he said something that hit me and for the first time I am taking the advice (Yea. That’s because this is not the first time I am hearing it)

He made it clear to me the importance of “dressing up”. Your dressing can open and equally lock doors for you. As a young lady, your hair, makeup, nails, clothe, shoe, accessories, bag can go a long way. He mentioned that he doesn’t wear his 10k suits to important events. He wears his 40k suits and that to him is not even enough. Ha!

Truth is, alot of people might not be able to afford some expensive things to look good. So what do they do? I was once there and currently leaving that level. Do they steal or avoid such meetings? No!

If you are in that category, I won’t advice you to spend your start up funds on looking good. You can invest in a few expensive good looking clothes for now. There are markets in Lagos where you can find good clothes that are not expensive and yet look very good. You owe no one an explanation. I have seen some 1k tops that are wow.

Another thing is you have to learn to style clothes. I used to be a zero in styling clothes. The very traditional kind of person. You should know that for every piece of clothes, there are various ways to style them. What do I mean? You can easily wear top A this way and that way. It looks all new.

For every meeting or event, “kindly” look good. I have disgraced myself before with the way I looked. Shabby hair, dirty jean, unkempt nails and I was trying to pitch my business. Them no look my face sef. I was coming from another hustle that day but that was no excuse. I learnt big time.

I will be doing a few styles that comes to mind that you can rock as a she-boss.

If I can make it, you too can.
